We’re exhibiting this weekend at the Dogwood Arts House and Garden Show at the Convention Center in downtown Knoxville, Tenn.
Part of what we love about participating in this event is all the awesome stuff and cool ideas you can pick up while you’re there! Here are just six of the cool things we’ve seen this year:
1. Outdoor Pizza Oven
While this particular pizza oven is set up to travel to your next tailgate party, these can also be a beautiful fixture in your backyard. Just check out this post that we did about essentials for moving your tailgate party from the parking lot to your backyard.
2. Choo! Choo!
While most people wouldn’t set up a model train in their landscape, this is a fun element that Mark Fuhrman (a landscaping contractor in Knoxville) breaks out every year for the Dogwood Arts House and Garden Show. It can’t be missed!
3. It’s Alive!
As we were setting up our display for the show, this living wall caught our attention. It’s a great technique for softening an area that’s heavy with hardscape elements such as walls, patios, walkways and others.
4. Learn How to Install a Paver Patio
Because we often create designs for Knoxville homeowners who want to do a DIY landscaping project, we loved this display at the Acme Block and Brick booth that breaks down the elements of a patio to show that it’s more than meets the eye.
5. Dreaming of Spring
Although it doesn’t feel like it today in Knoxville, spring is on the way. This display by Knoxville landscaping contractor Earthadelic got us excited for the burst of color that we know is on the way soon!
6. Unique Wall and Landscape Lighting
This block wall is part of the Carex Design Group display at the show. We’ve already received a lot of kudos for the unique vertical stacking element we used in this design. Plus, the landscaping lighting (made by Kichler) does a fantastic job of illuminating this awesome feature.
If you’re looking for a warm place to walk around while you dream of spring this weekend, stop by the show. We’re in booth #3007, and we’d love to talk with you about your next landscaping project. You can also fill out our contact form or call 865-765-5550 and we’ll come to you for a free consultation and estimate.
