Our family, like yours, has been watching the COVID-19 pandemic evolve over the last several weeks, and we’ve taken care to follow all guidelines from the Center for Disease Control as well as Knox County and other agencies. As a construction and design company, Carex Design Group is still open for business as an essential service. However, we’ve made some changes to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.
We’re limiting physical contact with clients by:
- Remaining outside during our visits rather than coming inside a home or business;
- Maintaining at least 6 feet of distance between people while on your property;
- Opting for no-contact visits by giving clients the option to talk with us by phone while we’re on-site touring the property;
- Using virtual meetings when possible throughout the design process; and
- Discussing appropriate practices with contractors we’re managing during the landscape construction process.
We’re also limiting physical contact among staff by working remotely rather than in our downtown Knoxville office and sending only one employee per client meeting.
While the success of our business is very important to us, our employees and our clients, Julie and I are invested in protecting our community and will continue to do everything we can to keep our friends and neighbors safe and healthy. Given this, we will be adjusting our business plans as guided by the City of Knoxville and Knox County. As the situation evolves, we’ll continue to keep this page updated with the latest status of Carex Design Group’s operations.
