Landscape Designer
I have a bachelor’s degree in plant sciences and a minor in business administration from the University of Tennessee. While there, I focused on horticultural and used that in my landscape design courses.
I’ve continued my education through ongoing professional development, becoming a Certified Tennessee Naturalist and as a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers.
I am a Trees Knoxville Volunteer Forester and enjoy volunteering at Seven Islands State Birding Park, with a focus on invasive plant removal as well as litter pickups for Keep Knoxville Beautiful.
I find design inspiration through travel and my love of nature. In addition, almost all of my hobbies — trail running, hiking, gardening — involve spending time outdoors, so I’m often exploring national and state parks and interacting with a variety of native plants and ecosystems, often with my husband, Peyton and our dog Maggie.
