Landscape Designer
I have a Bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Maryville College, as well as a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Tennessee.
I find design inspiration through my travels as well as walks with my dogs through various Knoxville neighborhoods. I often stop to snap pictures of landscaping ideas, plant choices and color palettes. It’s this focus on color that typically kick-starts my design process because I often choose a color palette first.
My hobbies include fiber art such as knitting, sewing, embroidery. I also love pottery, 3D rendering, baking, and floral arranging. I am drawn to those that balance form and color, which pair very well with landscape design. Outside of work, you’ll find me traveling with my husband Aaron or going on an adventure with our two pups, Willa and Buddy.
