I recently attended the Hardscape North America and Green Industry and Equipment Expo in Louisville, Kentucky. In addition to taking part in an informative contractor round table workshop, I took a spin through the Expo to see what cool products are available.

Here are just a few of my favorites:

Techo Bloc

These pavers (that’s right, those are pavers not wood!) by Techo Bloc are a beautiful choice for an outdoor patio space. The long, linear style of theses pavers create a modern, high-end look while paying tribute to the classic wooden deck.

Zentro Fire Pit

This fire ring by Zentro has some cool options for add-ons that we loved. From a swing-away grill to chicken rotisserie and kettle winch, this fire ring has it all for people who like to cook over an open flame.

Decorative Drain Covers

Who said drainage had to be utilitarian? These drain covers by Drainage Solutions Inc. offer a nice alternative to the traditional drainage grate.

Accessories

Although I stopped by the Belgard Hardscapes booth because I frequently use their pavers and block in my landscape designs, I was excited to see this lantern accessory on display in their area. It’s not uncommon for customers to ask for help when choosing accessories like this and my taking part in those decisions only helps ensure that a client gets a well thought out design down to every detail.
