Our greatest strength at Carex Design Group is our talented team of designers and project managers who bring our clients’ landscape design visions to life. This month, we’re thrilled to celebrate a special milestone—the one-year anniversary of Landscape Designer Chloe Mowry.
Over the past year, Chloe has been an invaluable asset to our team by sharing her experiences with zoning ordinances and landscape codes. Her background working with an engineering firm has helped us better navigate the sometimes tedious world of codes for homeowner’s associations as well as municipalities. She’s combined that technical talent with her keen design sensibilities to excel in her role.
“I like being able to help our landscape design clients get more out of their outdoor spaces,” said Chloe. “It’s fulfilling to see people excited about our designs coming to life and to enhance their daily experiences.”
Chloe embodies the professionalism and creativity for which Carex Design Group is known throughout Knoxville and its surrounding communities. She possesses a deep understanding of plant materials and site analysis, allowing her to craft designs that enhance the aesthetic appeal of a property.
“Chloe has been a fantastic addition to our design team,” said Landscape Architect Bob Graves. “Tapping into the experience I’ve gained with more than 20 years in the field, it’s rewarding to be be able to mentor a future landscape architect who’s early in their career. We’re so fortunate to have her in the Carex Design Group family.”
Chloe’s contributions over the past year have been significant. She has been instrumental in:
- Developing stunning residential landscape designs, such as this paver patio and retaining wall project (pictured below) in the Tellico Village neighborhood in Loudon, Tenn. near Knoxville.
- Contributing to commercial landscape design projects, helping Knoxville businesses create inviting and impactful exterior spaces.
- Collaborating seamlessly with our team by sharing her expertise and enthusiasm while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Supporting the landscape architecture industry through her volunteer work with the TN chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
“I’ve really enjoyed the variety of projects I’ve worked on over the past year,” said Chloe. “Every project has different problems or constraints to work through, which keeps the workload interesting.”
Beyond her technical skills, Chloe’s warm and collaborative approach makes her a joy to work with, both for her colleagues and our clients.
