Last fall, we joined with Keep Knoxville Beautiful, a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to create a cleaner, greener and more beautiful community, to focus some tender loving care on the area around the Woodland exit of I-275 in Knoxville, Tenn.
More than 15 dedicated volunteers planted 1,500 Daffodil bulbs, and we all crossed our fingers for a gorgeous reward come springtime. Well … it’s finally here. The bulbs are in bloom and we couldn’t be happier that we added a splash of color along the roadside.
Together with Keep Knoxville Beautiful, we hope to continue with these types of beautification projects. To get involved, you can join Keep Knoxville Beautiful or make a donation via the organization’s website.
